Tragedy...

"While I am rarely at a loss for words, today has rendered me speechless.  First, I am speechless for the tragedy that has occurred at the marathon today.  Today is a day that people dream about, crossing that line on Boylston St and today, for many, that dream was destroyed and will forever be tainted.  For that, I am sorry.

The second reason I am speechless is the immediate response of this team and our supporters.  Text messages, emails and phone calls immediately started flying through our network to locate each and every member of this team and friends of the team that was racing today or spectating.  The good news is, as far as we are aware, everyone on the team is safe and sound.  The bad news is that at some point, we may learn of someone we know who was affected by this horrible tragedy.  If there is anyone on this team directly affected by this tragedy, please know, you will have the full support of this team in whatever way we can possibly help.
